The Reinheller Family has a strong tradition of family values. Born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Wes Reinheller’s parents, Ben and Esther, raised four boys: Wesley (the oldest), David, Wayne, and Dale.

Wes started Medican in 1974 from humble beginnings. Concrete was the lucrative market in the early years and many kilometres of sidewalks and curbs have been, and still are, being paved. Wes, true to his visionary leadership, further expanded the company into condominium development. The company has now grown to include four different product lines alongside Kingsland Developments (owned by Matt Rood) to build lifestyle condos, single family and town homes.

Wes married his high school sweetheart, Janice, and together they have four children - Renee, Ryan, Mike, and Melissa. They are also proud grandparents of two granddaughters and three grandsons. Wes and Janice’s son Ryan has inherited the entrepreneurial spirit of his father. As the founder of Creekside Roasting Coffee Company, Ryan and his wife Andrea have continued the tradition of family-owned business in the Reinheller family.
